The acrobee video system consists of a camera, Video Transmitter (VTX), is powered by and connected to the Flight Controller (FC). In order for this system to work all parts of the system must be working correctly.
Example of Normal operation
Here is a video showing normal working condition. Please note each flying environment will yield different results but this shows a baseline.
Description of Problem
In this section we will take a look at having low video range.
Possible Causes and Solutions
Some solutions to this are verifying your goggles and VTX are on the same band and channel. To do this go into CLI in betaflight and type “set” then press enter, this will list the VTX band, channel, and power. Please also make sure the VTX power is not set to “0”. Please inspect the VTX antenna to make sure it is attached firmly and is not damaged.
Here is how the VTX board should look.
